Volunteer Team Descriptions:
EVENTS: Event volunteers assist on the event day for set-up, guest assistance, and registration or clean up. Volunteers may also choose to be involved in event planning.
TOWN HALL MEETINGS: Assist with onsite check-in of residents and presenters; Greet delegates and direct them to their seats; Provide any general assistance required, carry out errands and generally assist with the smooth running of the meeting
STREET TEAM: Disseminate flyers, posters, other materials of community events and updates into the hands of lots of residents quickly and consistently, putting a friendly face to the 16th Ward Service Office
IN-OFFICE ASSISTANCE: Assists with a variety of tasks to help keep the 16th Ward Service Office functioning smoothly. Tasks include answering phones, greeting residents, planning events, and other administrative tasks assigned by the coordinator
